About Dr. Cohen

Dr R Cohen MD. F.C.O.G. (Wits) S.A. started his medical career in the field of Cardiology, and later specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (particularly infertility). He led the internationally recognised Wits Medical School's first Test-Tube Program (in vitro fertilization) for 4 years and brought happiness to many infertile couples by giving them the joy of becoming parents to healthy 'test tube' babies.

While conducting this work Dr Cohen encountered the "problem of obesity". This led him to over 3 years of international research (conducted over 25 years ago) and, has resulted in his world-famous "Dr Cohen Diet" with thousands of successful customers from all over the world; many of them are well-known celebrities who cannot be named. For many years Dr Cohen was involved in preparing international candidates for 'Miss Universe' beauty pageant.

Dr Cohen clinics are spread over Australia and South Africa and he is currently promoting the program successfully in the United States of America.

Dr Cohen’s Research

The research isolated the hormones involved in obesity and overweight people and led to the conclusion that obesity is a "disease".

Obesity is a medical condition arising out of hormonal imbalances. It has nothing to do with lack of self-discipline, but is a metabolic problem arising out of hormonal imbalances.

The Solution

Using food to address the hormonal imbalance is the safest and most natural way to lose weight. Dr. Cohen only “prescribes” foods tested to allow the body to do what it is naturally designed to do, which is to burn fat! There is no need for costly (and possibly unsafe options) like pills, formulated drinks, machines and injections.

As food is a key cause of the hormonal imbalance, food also becomes your ‘medicine’.

The Human Growth Hormone (HGH)

Obesity is a metabolic problem arising out of hormonal imbalances. Dr Cohen’s Research isolated the hormones involved in obesity and overweight people.

The Human Growth Hormone (HGH) plays a key role in the Dr Cohen's Program of Rapid Fat-loss, Weight-loss and Wellness.

Work on the Human Growth Hormone started in the early 1970's and has remained at the medical forefront as one of the most important hormones in the body.

Briefly, HGH is responsible for:
